Rochester Run

3rd Annual Run FASD & Family Picnic
This event is for everyone! You are welcome to join for any or all of the activities scheduled. Bring your family and friends and come out in support.
12:30pm – Meet at the Hawthorne Shelter at Genesee Valley Park. Welcome tables open. Informal games and activities available for children and the whole family.
12:50pm – Gather for “5K Your Way” and Welcome
1:00pm – “5K Your Way” begins! Help cheer on our runners, walkers, strollers, and crawlers as they hit the course (kids included!). The majority of the course is on the paved Genesee Valley Park trail path along the river. Feel free to do part or all of the course (3x around gets you to just about 5K). We’ll provide water tables in a few places. We are not doing individual times, but we’ll have an official race clock to check your times.
**All children need to be accompanied by an adult who can keep up with them on the trail. Please let us know if you would like us to have one of our staff or students participate with your child**
1:45 – Family picnic. Bring a lunch for your family and join us for a picnic.
Show Your Support
Step 1 – Check back here for an official (free) sign up so we know how many people to expect. We will also prepare race bibs for anyone joining for the 5K.
Step 2 – consider purchasing your official Run FASD swag ($5-$35). All proceeds go to support FASD United: Register to Run FASD 2023! – Run FASD
You can also join our fundraising team, regardless of whether you can attend the event.
